The mobile task and checklist solution, dawin checkMaster, complements the portfolio of the competence portal, BAUGENIE, and was presented for the first time at BAU 2009 in Munich.

Moving away from isolated solutions – towards universal data availability This is the aim of the competence portal, BAUGENIE. The software manufacturers in the construction sector working together on this project offer highly-innovative software solutions that are compatible with each other, thus enabling the clients to exploit a genuine value-added chain. The most recent product by dawin® gmbh that meets the criteria of BAUGENIE is called dawin checkMaster and is a software solution for creating tasks and checklists for any industry, using mobile devices.

dawin checkMaster is based on a MySQL database and a so-called check factory. The highly-intelligent program is able to create individual instructions as a task or checklist and take them where required on a PDA or a smartphone. The user can create customised forms digitally. Test or processing data recorded using the mobile device is available immediately after recording in a database for evaluation or in report form.

The dawin checkMaster also offers the possibility of importing data for the checklist program. This avoids having to record data in a time-consuming and costly manner, and guarantees that the data is always up-to-date. Especially for the construction sector, dawin® in partnership with the ID solution provider, identWERK GmbH, offers rough PDAs. These devices are particularly robust and are excellent for use on building sites.
