Remain hands-free with the speech-controlled test program

The prototype of the speech-controlled quality measurement and checklist solution, dawin checkMaster, is presented to the public at BAU 2009 in Munich.

If you are no longer happy with often too small input boxes on PDAs or smartphone or want to keep your hands free to use a mobile device, the quality measurement system and checklist solution, dawin checkMaster with speech-control, is now available.

Working instructions can be customised, making it possible to work, using mobile solutions, where the work has to be carried out. This is possible thanks to the software solution, dawin checkMaster by dawin® gmbh. This solution can be used to create checklists, test procedures and working instructions – recorded on a database – on a PDA or tablet PC.

These mobile devices may be very easy to carry around, but recording data with them often turns out to be not so practical. So dawin® gmbh in partnership with Voice Insight® GmbH is now offering speech-controlled operation of the program. The first prototype of this partnership was presented for the first time at BAU 2009.

Working instructions and data input can be managed using speech-control. It’s no longer necessary to carry out the burdensome tasks of data entry using a pen.
dawin checkMaster is based on a MySQL database and a so-called check factory. The program can be connected to available databases, for example to recover client master data, and is particularly remarkable for its high level of flexibility. Individual adjustments or changes can be made easily by the client.

dawin® also offers the creation of checklists according to the client’s wishes, as an optional service. Special requirements, such as test intervals, evaluation criteria, test instruction etc. can be incorporated at any time.

Defects or action guidelines can be added to the test results and are immediately available for checking after completion.
