Maintain 2014 press release:

Speech can do more

The German software house dawin gmbh is presenting its latest developments in speech-supported software for maintenance on the joint exhibition stand of the FVI, the association of industrial maintenance firms.

Under the motto “speech can do more”, dawin shows its latest developments, e.g.

• Initial inventory creation using speech input
• Hands-free checklists
• Speech-supported documentation of field tests

dawin also wants to apply its understanding and knowledge to strengthen the still underused potential of hands-free and eyes-free business applications and to lay the foundations for the next generation of productive 4.0 maintenance solutions.

The first example of this new generation of maintenance management software is spicture Beta. spicture Beta is a smartphone app which stores photos and picture – naturally using speech transcription – in one single step. Producing picture documentation for loss reports, status reports and service documentation becomes many times more efficient because the time-consuming copying, sorting and documentation of photos is no longer necessary.

spicture Beta will be available soon. Anyone who wants to be involved from the outset and reserve their access to the free beta version can register as a beta tester at Maintain. You will find dawin in hall B6, stand 104 at the FVI joint stand.

Maintain 2014 will be opening it gates from 3 to 6 June 2014 in Munich.
